The Soupcake – Recap: “It’s a quiche!”

15 more minutes at 150° C did the trick. our Quiche of things that “must go” became delicious. so here is the recipie:

Lay out bought  puff pastry or pizza dough in a deep oven pan.


  • 1 1/2 onions or 1 big onion
  • 400 ml cream
  • 5 eggs
  • vegetables of any kind and as many as you like
  • 150 g grated Parmesan and/or Gouda cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • pepper according to taste.
Pour it all into the prepared dough and bake for 20 minutes at 200° C, then turn down to 150° C and give it another 15 minutes.

  1. Pepper according to taste?!!?!?…..Don’t mind if I do!!! I put tons of pepper on everything; scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, soup, sandwiches, hot dogs…everything. What a great recipe; “pepper according to taste”..

    Hey, nice blog, I respect you’re putting your personal opinions out there, and a lot of them sound good, but I cannot comment on every post, but I agree with a lot of what you say. Anyway, I am in America, just stumbled on your blog from a comment you made on another blog.
